We’ve an amazing team of seasoned cricket professionals teaching our cricket courses, camps and events. All are Level 2 coaches with full CRB/DBS. In addition to our regular coaches we are also assisted by other professionals for selected courses and masterclasses.

Level 2 coach with full CRB / DBS

An extremely well-known cricketer across the area. Mark is a former Leicestershire CCC player who has played a high standard for many years. As at 2014, he is the third highest run-scorer in the history of the Bradford league.

Level 2 coach with full CRB / DBS

Another well-known local league cricketer with many years of coaching under his belt. Phil has been on the YCB Pathways Winter Coaching staff since 1994 to date. Previous White Rose trophy finalist / Priestley Cup finalist / Waddilove Cup winner / Harry Middleton (Bradford League) Man of the Match winner.

Current club: First / second team player – Pool CC and also the Rawdon CC Under 11’s manager (Winners of the Aire-wharfe U11’s West League – 2014)

Anthony McGrath, our ambassador

Anthony McGrath

Ex Yorkshire and England international.

Anthony McGrath is The Cricket Schools Ambassador.
In 2010 scored 1,219 first-class runs, passing the thousand runs mark for the third time in his career.

Yorkshire & England Ladies team

Winfield has consistently performed for Yorkshire in the Women's County Championship.
she played in two Twenty20 internationals, a productive 2014 in the Super 3s and played in the Test against India in August, scoring 43 runs in the match, and she was also a regular presence in the short formats.
Her performances built up to a superb 74 off just 60 deliveries in the T20 versus South Africa that September, as she helped England win by eight runs.

James Middlebrook

Ex Northants & Essex player and currently at Yorkshire CC

An off-spinning all-rounder, Leeds-born Middlebrook was handed a lifeline back into first-class cricket by home county Yorkshire in April 2015, aged 37.
Having left Northamptonshire at the end of the 2014 campaign, he made a sensational return to the White Rose ranks to provide cover while Adil Rashid was away with England.
Middlebrook played for the Tykes at every age level from under-11 upwards before he made his first-class debut for the senior side in 1998.


Paul Hutchison

Ex Yorkshire, Sussex and Middlesex, Left arm bowler

He is a left-handed batsman, and a left-arm fast-medium bowler now, Swedens National Coach Hutchison played for the Under-17 and Under-19 England team.

He went on to play thirty nine first-class matches for Yorkshire between 1996 and 2001, taking 143 wickets at 22.68. Hutchison was selected to play in the Test trial match at Chelmsford where he played for 'The Rest of England' against England 'A'.

The highlight being dismissing Nasser Hussain in the second innings. Hutchison also toured with England 'A' twice, firstly to Kenya & Sri Lanka in 1997/98 and then Zimbabwe and South Africa in 1998/99. I Active scout for one of the 18 First Class Counties and is Cricket Chairman at Pudsey St Lawrence CC in the Bradford League.
